So I finally unlocked Gouken. After unlocking him I realized that you have to win a match with either a perfect or an Ultra. I was originally playing this on best of 3 rounds and couldn't get it. I switched it to 1 round and bam I got it first time through.

All I did was get a perfect or an ultra on each character I fought. I got a perfect on Seth's bitch ass too.

I think unlocking Seth is going to be a problem though since I can't do shit against Seth with Dhalsim.

What was your strategy with Dhalsim Thinblue?

Set the difficulty to easy and 1 round. Use a character whose Ultra you can do easily ( I used Akuma <3) and then beat everyone with either an Ultra or a Perfect. You should try to beat them with a Perfect and then if they hit you beat them with an Ultra.

Dhalsim was a pain in the ass. I beat the first couple opponents and then I got stuck with Sagat. I couldn't beat him so after I lost my match against him I picked someone else to make it to the next match. I then lost to the next person (on purpose) and went back to Dhalsim. When I got to Seth I teleported around and hit him with his fireballs, occasionally sneaking in a fierce kick/punch. Beating Seth was easy compared to beating Sagat with Dhlalsim.

Yeah I use Akuma, Ryu or Ken to get to Seth and then lose and continue with Dhalsim. I played Seth once and said fuck this and beat him with other people instead. I passed SFIV about 3 times yesterday. One time with Bison even though I had already passed it with him. Of course I forgot I had already passed it with him even though right before I picked him I almost picked Rose -_______-

Yeah I didn't realize that you only had to beat Seth for it to count until I had done it with almost everyone.

*EDIT*
Now that I think about it, I believe you have to start arcade mode with the person you want to finish it with. It's just the matches in between that you can use someone else.
